I am a high school teacher that has taught law classes for years as well as a practicing attorney in the state of Michigan
There is no homework outside of class, but discussions may overflow to the online classroom.
Handouts will be provided each week for class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Assessment will be done as we move through the class during discussion.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
With all of my Criminal Law or Criminal Procedure classes, I strongly encourage parents to look over the Discussion Outlines to make sure the content is suitable for their learner. We discuss crimes of all sort, ranging from murder to property crimes, so please be aware of that. Please message me if you have any issues.
We will refer to English Common Law as well as various state laws dealing with the crimes being taught that day in class.
