US Grade 2 - 5
In this one-time class I will teach students about 10 different rare horse and pony breeds. There are hundreds of breeds of horses in the world. Some of them are very common and popular (e. g., more people in the world own an American Quarter Horse than any other breed of horse in the world), but some are very rare. This class will be set up with me showing a lot of pictures and informing students about the information. I will teach openly and students are able to ask questions though out the class or make comments. The learners can interact with me and the other students as much as they care to. If you like this class be sure to check out my Tell Me About Horses and Ponies class.
Learning Goals
By the end of the class students will be able to name ten breeds of rare horses and fun facts about each one!
