Hello Friends! I am so excited for a fun class of learning and exploring! Bring your thinking caps, imagination and get ready to learn your numbers, letters, shapes, patterns and so much more. This class is all about learning styles and levels of students. First we start class with a hello song and reviewing the classroom rules: listening ears, watching eyes, thinking caps, and kind hearts! Then we will go over our days of the week, and calendar skills. Then we move on to our letters and numbers. We use our eyes, hands, ears and bodies to learn. Sometimes we act it out, clap the number, make a letter with our arms, anything to get students interacting with the lesson. Next we move on to our theme of the week and learn different patterns, colors, shapes and fun! The class will be a combination of slideshow and live video following directions and answering questions. **I want this to be a great class for learners but also not too much work for parents!* Week 1 5/3- Welcome Friends Week 2 5/10- Follow the Leader Week 3 5/17- Ocean Animals Week 4 5/24- Space Week 5 5/31- Transportation Week 6 6/7- Ice Cream Week 7 6/14- Summer Time Week 8 6/2 Pets Week 9 6/28 ** NO CLASSES** Week 10 7/5 Dinosaurs Week 11 7/12 Bugs Week 12 7/19 Helpers Week 13 7/26 All about me (LAST CLASS OF THE SUMMER) Regular preschool class will start 8/3 Tuesday's focus is Math- number recognition, counting, shapes, sizes, addition and more! Thursday's focus is literacy- letter recognition, beginning sounds, sight words, and more! * Students are welcome to join or leave class at anytime! Class sizes are kept small to maximize student engagement and evolvement.

I have always loved learning, and teaching. I have worked for over 10 years teaching young children, elementary age, and high school age. It has been my passion for as long as I can remember. What I have come to learn is everyone learns differently but a huge part of learning is doing! When we learn hands on, the information sticks. That’s why all my classes involve DOING!
In my preschool classes we are showing our learning through actions, dances, songs and repeating.
I also have a passion for teaching life skills classes because I know how important it is for kids to learn simple yet immeasurable skills. You’ll find hairstyling classes for young girls, cooking and baking classes and social clubs.

I enjoy teaching all different age children, from the little ones just learning their ABC's to older children who have such an excitement for learning.
I have a Bachelors dual major degree in Elementary Education and Special Education, as well as a Masters degree in Education. I have worked for over 10 years in the school system, first as a paraprofessional and then a classroom teacher.
