Class experience
Welcome to Waves and Stones Kindergarten circle time in the Waldorf Steiner style. In this ongoing class, children will learn rhymes, use their hands in finger play stories, and move their bodies through song time while developing skills needed to begin learning in the classroom. We build language through rhyme and patterns, strengthen fingers and hands for writing through finger play, and sing to build vocabulary...all the while being in a small, supported group for nourishing social...
Children will work on increasing vocabulary, work on strengthening hand and finger grip and developing memory recall.
I have been teaching 16+ years. I have a degree in Steiner teaching from USC in Australia. I have been teaching all year levels, from kindergarten through to High School, at the Waldorf Steiner school in Brisbane, Australia.
As this class does involve movement, please ensure a safe space is provided which is free from falling objects or furniture the child might bump in to.
