In this class, learners will get to meet and interact with the Story Fairy and her cute pet dragon Smurkle, in this fun, imaginative, interactive weekly storytime class. The Story Fairy, in full costume and completely in character, with some green screen magic, and drama techniques to engage learners, will invite them to 'become' part of the Fairy Tale story each week encouraging them to get ACTIVE, PROBLEM SOLVE, COMMUNICATE, build their CONFIDENCE and use their IMAGINATIONS. We'll act out and listen to the Story Fairy tell a different Fairy Tale story each week. Great for building learners' personal, social, emotional, and physical skills, and with questions about the story and the Story Fairy asking for ideas of how we can help the story characters, learners can build their confidence, communication, and language skills in a fun way too, by becoming fully involved in the story. They will also start to problem solve and think in a creative way whilst exploring the characters' emotions, what are good and bad choices, and some key early years concepts. After a drama warm-up exercise and a warm-up game, the Story Fairy will wave her wand and use early drama skills and the magic of imagination to help learners explore the story. Learners will be encouraged to 'get up and join in' with this Fairy Tale. We will explore the following Fairy Tales: Week of 13th January- Cinderella, Week of 20th January- Pinocchio, Week of 27th January- Goldilocks and the 3 Bears, Week of 3rd February- As this class is non-scripted storytelling and led by an experienced T.I.E actress, presenter, storyteller, and teacher, it can be adapted live on the spot to cater to learners' needs on that day. Suitable whether your learner loves drama or has never tried anything like it. Learners are also always welcome to dress up each week to suit the story, and characters or just ready to explore a Fairy Tale with the Story Fairy, if they wish, (but they should make sure they are dressed in clothing suitable for moving in, have space to join in, and a drink nearby if they need it). The Story Fairy looks forward to welcoming you in this interactive, imaginative class. 'With a flick of my wand and a wave of my hand, let's take a journey to Storyland'

Parental Guidance
This is an active class so please make sure your learner is dressed so they can move around comfortably (even if that is in their chosen costume), make sure they also have adequate space where they won't bump into anything, and a drink nearby in case they need it. Please be assured that all the fairy tale stories are age-appropriate and often learners will become the characters or meet a non-intimidating puppet. If your learner doesn't like puppets though please message me and I will adapt that week so there aren't any in their class.
