Beginner - Intermediate Level
Description: Monsters and Creatures are some of the coolest and most creative concepts out there! In this club, students will get the chance to create their favorite monsters, from dragons to mind flares, ogres, and many more! Students will also get the chance to explore their creativity by adding or changing their monsters as they please. Students will learn to map out proper proportions using simplistic shapes and turn them into cool and stylized characters. I will be showing different drawing techniques at the beginning of class, and then students are welcome to follow along step by step or create their version. I will be giving positive feedback throughout the class! At the end, we will do a brief show and tell ( students don't have to share if they do not want to) Beginners are welcome but basic drawing skills are recommended! As long as you love drawing and creatures you'll have fun! *This is not a realistic drawing class.* We will look at proper proportions, as well as exaggerated proportions, texture, and tiny details, to improve our drawing skills and develop each student's style! I will be sketching and inking and IF time permits we will be also coloring our drawing. ( Students will be encouraged to color their drawings in case we don't have time in class) *Students will be able to request specific Monster!* The schedule Updated weekly! *Some weeks throughout the year will be off*

Paper/sketchbook Pencils Colored pencils or markers Students may use whatever medium they enjoy such as ; Digital, watercolors, pencils, pastels.
