Students will go on a mythological journey looking at stories from different cultures. This course is a dream come true for fantasy lovers, History lovers, and English lovers. Mythology study is intertwined in both literature and history.

What will be taught? Topics can be found in the weekly syllabus breakdown. This class focuses on topics that students are actually interested in. When students are learning about things they enjoy, retention is higher. How do you teach? My teaching style is dynamic and student-centered, incorporating a mix of storytelling, visual aids, and practical examples to make learning enjoyable and accessible. Learners will have plenty of opportunities to interact with me through discussions, group activities, Q&A sessions, and interactive games.

In terms of my teaching experience, I have taught for several years. The ages I have focused on most are 3-14. I have also homeschooled my children since they were little and I’ve helped several others get started on homeschooling as well.
Through experience, I have learned how students learn best. I have also learned the most effective teaching strategies. I apply these in all of my classes.
In terms of this standalone topic, I have been interested in Greek mythology and mythical creatures since I was very young. Growing up, I was taught that learning was exciting and fun. It’s why I always wanted to be a teacher. My goal is not to throw curriculum at kids, but to give them information that will help their own curiosity grow. Reviews
