In this flexible schedule class, the Algebra 1 concepts of Solving Quadratics will be taught. This is widely considered the most difficult unit in Algebra 1. Students will be able to find real solutions to quadratic equations using the quadratic formula, taking square roots, and by factoring. Students will also be able to apply this knowledge to real-life situations.
Homework Offered
10-15 practice problems are assigned after each session. Worked out answer keys will also be provided so that students can check their work and find any mistakes. Homework will take approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour to complete on average.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
