Ready for Algebra 1? Let's slay it together! This ongoing course is designed to engage students to the concepts and practice of Algebra. This ongoing course emphasizes problem solving and critical thinking skills, while also providing a foundation in:

- creating, solving, and graphing linear, quadratic equations and inequalities
- polynomial operations (factoring, adding, subtracting, etc.)
- applying functions
- exponents and radicals

Learners should have a solid understanding of maths through Pre-Algebra, and be enrolled in an Algebra class currently or within the next 6 months. The purpose of this class is problem-solving through the learning and practice of algebra; content for this class stands alone weekly and learners can join at any week. This class covers all major topics in Algebra 1 but does so less-extensively.

* Week 1- Introduction to Creating and Solving Equations

 * Week 2- Linear Equations and Inequalities

* Week 3- Graphing Linear Equations and Inequalities

* Week 4- Functions

* Week 5- Polynomial Operations

* Week 6- Factoring Polynomials

* Week 7- Radicals

* Week 8- Quadratic Equations

* Week 9- Quadratic Functions
