This one-time session will focus on one of the foundation skills used in Algebra 1. The agenda for my class will be as followed: 1. Introduce to Quadratic Equations -Learners will review vocabulary: axis of symmetric, vertex, minimum, maximum, parabolas. 2. Solving Quadratics by Factoring 3. Solving Quadratics by Quadratic Formula Learners will learn how to graph on paper and using a graphing calculator. Calculators are not mandatory, I can provide a link for an online graphing calculator. I will provide steps for solving Quadratic Equations in various forms.
