Description

Class Experience

In this 1-1 singing class, the learner will pick a song of their own choice (if they cannot think of one, they will need to contact me prior to the lesson so I can choose one for them to learn). We will start the class by working on breathing techniques, what muscles we use when we sing, where to sing from and how to engage our diaphragm. Then we will move onto a warm up. The learner will then present the song to me, singing it all the way through at first. Then we will break the song down...

To perfect a song to be able to perform.

I am a classically trained singer with experience in the musical theatre & pop industry.  I have taught music in both the UK & the USA.  I have Grade 8 ABRSM classical singing & Grade 8 LCM Musical Theatre. I have toured the UK in professional shows with Opera North & have played main roles in musicals such as Mother Superior in Sister Act & Prudy Pingleton in Hairspray.

Lyrics/music to the song they have chosen.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
