In this 1-1 singing class, the learner will pick a song of their own choice (if they cannot think of one, they will need to contact me prior to the lesson so I can choose one for them to learn). We will start the class by working on breathing techniques, what muscles we use when we sing, where to sing from and how to engage our diaphragm. Then we will move onto a warm up. The learner will then present the song to me, singing it all the way through at first. Then we will break the song down and work on parts that could require the most attention. We may work on one song for a couple of weeks or it could take one lesson, this depends on the practicalities and difficulties of the chosen song. By the end of the lesson/s the song should be at performance standard. This class is suitable for people who are new to singing and have a passion for it as well as intermediate and experienced singers. The class will be very interactive. No previous knowledge is required for this class, just the knowledge of the song of their choice.
