Private lessons allow for consistent individual feedback as we train the singing voice to develop the coordination to have balance and freedom singing throughout the chest, mix and head voice registers in both exercises and songs. Students can learn more about any problem areas in songs they currently sing or want to sing, and begin to understand how to address these parts of the singing voice. We will recognize and address any vocal issues or imbalances in the voice, using specific exercises which target vocal cord function. Other topics discussed may include vocal registers, breath, support, posture, vowel modification, acting choices, and musicality. My teaching style is both intuitive and technical, taking into account the uniqueness of each voice, personality, and individual’s goals.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have worked with this professional vocal technique since 1998. I have taught young singers in the NYC metropolitan area since 2012 and have seen their voices develop with freedom throughout the range of the voice. I have observed hours and hours of voice lessons of children Broadway singers in NYC using this technique. I love helping young singers understand their unique voice and sing with confidence.
