This is a 1-session class introducing the basics of sign language. Level 1: Alphabet, Fingerspelling, Greetings, Introductions, and Goodbye, High Frequency Words Classes will be taught through demonstration, imitation, explanation, games, and activities. Students will learn the basics of American Sign Language (ASL) and will be able to use basic sign phrases and fingerspelling to communicate.
As a special education teacher, I have taught sign language for the past 20 years. In addition, I have taken several college-level courses in sign language.

Students will be asked to practice the ASL alphabet, fingerspelling, and learned signs.Assessments Offered
