Students will be introduced to the specific care and needs of kittens. Among other things, we'll be discussing: - Healthy kitten care - What to do if you find a kitten alone - Determining the age of a kitten - How and when to bottle feed kittens - Toileting and litter boxes - Keeping kittens warm - The importance of weighing - Sources of help Students will learn that kittens are very fragile and need around-the-clock care. However, learning what to do and helping a neonate kitten grow into a happy, healthy cat can be a very rewarding journey. Students will "meet" a variety of cats and kittens and learn their rescue stories. Class will be held in a virtual, open discussion forum. Students can participate as much or as little as they feel comfortable.

Students will improve their understanding of the detailed care needed for rescue and adopted kittens ages 0 to 12 weeks.

Parental Guidance
Identifying how to determine the sex of a kitten will be discussed briefly.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
