Class Experience

US Grade 3
**This is a Self-Paced class which means there are no live class meetings**

This class will cover part one of four of a full year of 3rd grade math curriculum based on common core standards. This class (part 1) will cover place value, addition, and subtraction.

Each video lesson will include the teacher introducing the targeted skill and any relevant vocabulary that goes with the skill. Video lessons are typically 10 minutes or less. The teacher will model multiple practice problems of the target skill. Independent practice will be provided for each lesson. In the self-paced format, learners will be able to complete lessons at their own pace.

Digital activities provided will use Kahoot. For the printed activities, learners can upload a picture of the completed work for teacher feedback. Teacher feedback will be provided within 48 hours of receiving submitted work during the initial 10 week period of enrollment. Teacher feedback will come in the form of written responses, or video responses. If additional support is needed, 1:1 sessions may be scheduled based on the availability and schedule of the learner and teacher.
