Elementary Math Tutoring

In our elementary math tutoring sessions, we will cover foundational topics such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, place value, and geometry. We’ll also work on word problems and critical thinking skills, helping students build a solid understanding of each concept.

Our classes are structured to provide a balance between instruction and interactive practice. We begin with a brief review or introduction to the topic, followed by hands-on activities and guided exercises. Students will have plenty of opportunities to ask questions and apply what they've learned through practice problems.

Teaching is student-centered, and I use a variety of techniques to engage learners, including visual aids (like slides), interactive games, worksheets, and video clips that reinforce key concepts. I also encourage discussions to help students verbalize their understanding and clarify any confusion.

Students will get plenty of chances to interact during lessons. There will be guided practice, opportunities for them to share their thought processes, and activities that encourage problem-solving in a collaborative way. I ensure that no one is passive during the class, allowing for full participation and personalized feedback.
