Class Experience

US Grade 2
**This is a Self-Paced Class which means no live meetings**

This class will cover part four of four of a full year of second grade math curriculum based on common core standards. This class will cover telling time, early multiplication and division strategies, place value and number sense, and money.

Each video lesson will include the teacher introducing the targeted skill and any relevant vocabulary that goes with the skill. Video lessons are typically 10 minutes or less. The teacher will model multiple practice problems of the target skill. Independent practice will be provided for each lesson. In the self-paced format, learners will be able to complete lessons at their own pace.

Digital activities provided will use Nearpod, Canva, Kahoot! and Google Forms. For digital activities, responses will automatically be sent to the teacher to review and offer feedback. For the printed activities, learners can upload a picture of the completed work for teacher feedback.

Teacher feedback will be provided within 48 hours of receiving submitted work during the initial 9 week period of enrollment. Teacher feedback will come in the form of written responses, or video responses. If additional support is needed, 1:1 sessions may be scheduled based on the availability and schedule of the learner and teacher.
