US Grade 4
**This is a Self-Paced Class which means no live meetings** This class will cover part two of four of a full year of fourth grade math curriculum based on common core standards. This class will cover division strategies, estimating quotients, division word problems, decomposing fractions, equivalent fractions, comparing fractions, putting fractions in order, and solving word problems involving fractions. Each video lesson will include the teacher introducing the targeted skill and any relevant vocabulary that goes with the skill. Video lessons are typically 10 minutes or less. The teacher will model multiple practice problems of the target skill. Independent practice will be provided for each lesson. In the self-paced format, learners will be able to complete lessons at their own pace. Digital activities provided will use Kahoot. For the printed activities, learners can upload a picture of the completed work for teacher feedback. Teacher feedback will be provided within 72 hours of receiving submitted work during the initial 9 week period of enrollment. Teacher feedback will come in the form of written responses, or video responses. If additional support is needed, 1:1 sessions may be scheduled based on the availability and schedule of the learner and teacher.
