Description
Class Experience
Following a regular SAT prep routine for 3-6 months leading up to the test has been shown to improve students' scores by 200 or more points. However, most students have trouble establishing and following a routine when the test is still months away. This study group is designed to help you get on track, so you can accomplish your SAT goals. Most sessions will consist of a warm-up activity, such as a vocabulary drill or a handful of multiple-choice questions. Next, there will be a 5-10...
Students will slowly but surely work on their reading comprehension, writing and language, and test-taking skills with the goal of increasing their scores on the Evidence Based Reading and Writing section of the SAT.
Passionate about helping her students achieve their college dreams by being their coach and cheerleader as they prep for the SAT and ACT, Heather Krey is an experienced instructor with teaching certificates in math, physics, chemistry, and English. With dual bachelor's degrees in industrial engineering and psychology from Lehigh University, she also holds masters of education degrees in mathematics from DeSales University and in teaching from Kutztown University. Heather lives in Allentown, PA, with her husband and three children.
