In this hour-long SAT Reading and Writing class, your student will master essential strategies to excel in the SAT Reading and Writing sections. We will cover critical reading comprehension techniques, grammar rules, and effective test-taking strategies. The class is structured to provide a mix of lectures, interactive activities, and practice exercises. My teaching style is dynamic and student-centered, ensuring each learner is actively engaged, we will use various materials, including slides, video clips, and practice questions, to reinforce key concepts. Students will have ample opportunities to interact with me through discussions, Q&A sessions, and practice drills. Throughout the class, I will provide personalized feedback and support to help student improve their skills and build confidence. Whether your student aims to boost their score by a few points or achieve a top percentile rank, this class will provide the tools and strategies needed to succeed on the SAT.
Learning Goals
Students will identify main ideas and themes, analyze the structure of passages, make inferences, and draw conclusions, all while understanding the author’s tone and purpose.They will master punctuation rules, understand sentence structure and syntax, correct common grammar errors, and enhance their vocabulary and word usage.

No content in this class that should be upsetting or scary to learners. All materials used in the class, including official SAT practice test materials, are appropriate for high school students. No media content requiring an official rating will be used, and no third-party tools require accounts. Safety precautions are not necessary for this class.
