SAT Power Class
Class experience
US Grade 9 - 12
Build your SAT Power with this fast-paced and score-boosting class! Clear your desk of everything except your pencil, some scratch paper, your calculator, and your computer. I will guide you through each section of the SAT, give you a "game plan" for how to tackle the questions, and immediately give you a timed drill to help you put it all together. The drills will come from a recently released official SAT, so they will be as close to the real test as you can get. You will be exhausted...
Students will learn the best SAT Mindset (calm, confident, and prepared) and will learn the best approach for each type of question on the test. They will participate in four timed drills designed to help them find the correct pacing (not too fast and not too slow) to achieve their maximum score on test day.
Passionate about helping her students achieve their college dreams by being their coach and cheerleader as they prep for the SAT and ACT, Heather Krey is an experienced instructor with teaching certificates in math, physics, chemistry, and English. She knows the best tips and strategies for these tests – and she also understands that students need encouragement and practice to do their best. With dual bachelor's degrees in industrial engineering and psychology from Lehigh University, she also holds masters of education degrees in mathematics from DeSales University and in teaching from Kutztown University. Heather lives in Allentown, PA, with her husband and three children.
I will supply each student with a PDF of a practice SAT at the beginning of class. Students will only need scratch paper, a pencil, a calculator, a computer, and a quiet place to work.
Every year, ambitious high school students start planning their journeys to college. At World Class Tutoring, we consider it an honor and a privilege to walk with you on this journey. We know you are going to amazing places and are proud to help...
