In this outgoing robotics club, learners who own any Robo Wunderkind set, ages 5-8, will enjoy using their robots and sharing their designs and projects with other young enthusiasts. Required but NOT included: Any Robo Wunderkind Set.

Class Experience

Each session is full of projects based on Passion, Collaboration with Peers, and a Playful Spirit. It is full of hands-on Memorable, Meaningful, and Motivating activities, specially designed for girls and boys, 5-8 years old.

This club is a discovery class where the only academic requirement is a passion for learning and creating. Nevertheless, students must have the Robo Wunderkind kit at home to participate. 

In this live club, each student will:

- Participate in a session with other enthusiasts his/her age group (5-8) who own any wunderkind robotic platform at home, discovering and enjoying their own robots. 
- Enjoy an hour of personalized project-based discussion and interest-based projects. 
- Learn to design, build, create, and code models that will require an engineer's eye. 
- Collaborate with small groups (6 enthusiasts maximum per session) with one adult certified live instructor.

The 45 minutes classes are incredibly interactive:
10-minute lecture using videos and slides.
25-minute self-paced creation.
10-minute discussion of achievements.
Learning Goals
In this club, you will get to experience first hand what it is like to be a Robotics Engineer. You will have the opportunity to build and program your own robot through various challenges according to your interests and skills.  

For this club, enthusiasts will be programming and building projects using their robots. Participants will enjoy programming robots, create their own simple challenges, and share their creations with other participants.

Robotics is a growing field in our world that is constantly changing and advancing in technology. With the instructor's guide, participants will learn that they, too, can become better roboticists.

Other Details

Parental Guidance
Parents are advised to stay nearby while the class is running to offer technical support if there is an issue with the internet and/or the platform. The robot platform communicates using Bluetooth technology, and Zoom meetings sometimes require some troubleshooting.
Supply List
Students must have the Robo Wunderkind* (price range: $179-$249) at home to participate. 

*Robo Wunderkind kits and teaching materials support children’s cognitive development and offer a new way to learn coding, robotics, and STEAM skills through open-end play. The curriculum is built on the theory of constructionism and can be used from kindergarten to middle school.
