Class experience

In this club, you will get to experience first hand what it is like to be a Robotics Engineer. You will have the opportunity to build and program your own robot through various challenges according to your interests and skills.

For this club, enthusiasts will be programming and building projects using their robots. Participants will enjoy programming robots, create their own simple challenges, and share their creations with other participants.

Robotics is a growing field in our world that is constantly changing and advancing in technology. With the instructor's guide, participants will learn that they, too, can become better roboticists.
Bright & Smart was founded in 2005. We have been teaching and developing our programs for the past 15 years. We create our programs with students' learning experience in mind; we want them to learn to love STEM and develop their higher cognitive skills and natural abilities; we help them see themselves as technology creators.
Students must have the Robo Wunderkind* (price range: $179-$249) at home to participate.

*Robo Wunderkind kits and teaching materials support children’s cognitive development and offer a new way to learn coding, robotics, and STEAM skills through open-end play. The curriculum is built on the theory of constructionism and can be used from kindergarten to middle school.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Parents are advised to stay nearby while the class is running to offer technical support if there is an issue with the internet and/or the platform.
The robot platform communicates using Bluetooth technology, and Zoom meetings sometimes require some troubleshooting.
This class is a discovery class where the academic requirement is to have participated in the Robotics Made Simple (Parts One and Two) plus a passion for learning and creating. Nevertheless, students must have the Robo Wunderkind kit at home to participate.
