US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten
Beginner - Advanced Level
These personalized one-on-one preschool/pre-k lessons can be used as a full preschool/pre-k curriculum, a supplement to the preschool program you use, or to get ready for preschool/pre-k in the fall. I will tailor our classes for your learner's specific needs. Subjects covered will include pre-literacy and literacy skills such as letter recognition and sounds, phonological and phonemic awareness, number sense, basic early math skills, shapes, patterns, colors, science, and social studies. We will be covering a different combination of these subjects each day we meet. My teaching style is relaxed and laid back while also highly interactive and I use a variety of methods to supplement our lessons, including stories, props, games, whiteboards, videos, and discussion.
Learning Goals
Students will learn/review the letter names and their sounds.Students will learn and review key phonological/phonemic awareness skills such as rhyming, syllables, segmentation, and blending.Other Details
Parental Guidance
Parents may be needed nearby to aid with scissors when applicable.
Supply List
Construction paper, lined paper, crayons, pencils, scissors, and glue would be recommended to have nearby. Any additional needed supplies will be posted in the classroom with at least 2 days notice.
