US Grade Preschool - 1
This spring-themed circle time will use the topic of flowers to teach literacy and pre-literacy skills, math, science, social-emotional learning, music, and art. We will sing a welcome song where I will welcome each child by name, discuss springtime and flowers, sing songs, read the classic children's book The Tiny Seed by Eric Carle, and reinforce our story with engaging activities. My teaching style is fun, engaging, and highly interactive. I also always like to give my learners and their families the option of additional activities they can do after class to reinforce what they have learned, so additional resources will be provided after the class.
Learning Goals
Students will learn about flowers, the parts of a flower, and different kinds of flowers.Students will use their imaginations and engage in pretend play.Other Details
Supply List
Learners may want to have construction paper and basic art supplies (crayons or markers, scissors, and glue). Additional art supplies will listed in the classroom if they are needed. Additional enrichment resources will be sent after class to reinforce learning, so access to a printer is helpful, but not required. Learners may wear bunny ears to class if they wish.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
