In this 4 week course, students will practice reading and writing sentences. Additional days and times of this same class available in the ongoing course format.
Class Experience
US Grade Kindergarten - 1
Beginner Level
In this class students will be shown a short list of sight words. As a class, we will read and practice the sight words together. Then we will choose a sight word off of the list and create a sentence with the sight word. The teacher will write the sentence down and the students will copy the sentence down onto their paper. Students will read the sentence back to the teacher. We will repeat this activity several times. By the time class is over, the learner will have several sentences...

Students need to be comfortable with pencil and paper and with writing all the letters of the alphabet. Students need to be comfortable copying words down from a screen.
