Private Tutoring for Young Children: Writing

This tutoring session will cover writing skills based on the student's needs. Student must be able to write and identify each letter of  the alphabet.   Class time can be spent on phonics, grammar, or simply helping the student develop more confidence in writing words, sentences, paragraphs, and short essays depending on the student's age. Skills to be covered will be based on the student's needs. 
Examples are: 
1. Helping a student learn how to form simple sentences. 
2. Helping a student to write a short story. 
3. Taking a student's paragraph and helping them edit and improve the paragraph. 
4. Helping a student to take fragments and make them  into complete sentences. 
5. Helping a student edit their story. 
Parent and teacher will discuss before the sessions the skills that need to be addressed. This can be a one time session, or several days, or several ongoing weeks based upon the parent's desire and the teacher's schedule.
