Join PupPup on her adventure to help her locate all of her missing dog bones! Your learner will engage in an interactive opportunity to practice their mathematical skills while using their imagination to join PupPup’s world. In this one-time class, learners will practice identifying and counting numbers one through ten through music, movement, team-work and game-based learning. Each learner will have the opportunity for multiple turns when playing the math game. They will learn a few different cheers to help positively support their peers regardless of the answer being correct or not. This will shift the focus to effort versus it being just about the answer being correct or not, all the while still learning. Hello! I'm Ms. Jennie, and I am SO excited to be teaching on Outschool! I have 5 years of teaching experience in the public schools as a certified Early Childhood Educator (with ESL and LBS 1 endorsements). I have experience in a variety of classroom settings including self-contained settings, small group and individual interventions, and Preschool For All to name a few.
I have a minor in Psychology and strongly believe in intentionally teaching social-emotional skills both explicitly as well as implicitly as opportunities naturally occur. I am currently pursuing my Masters in Special Education and I am more than half way through the program.
I believe learning should be fun, and I always try to find a way to tie the student's interests with my teaching and keep them engaged! I look forward to hearing from you, and how we can work together to best meet the needs of your learners!
