Hello! I'm Ms. Jennie, and I am SO excited to begin teaching on Outschool! I have 5 years of teaching experience in the public schools (Preschool-2nd) as a certified Early Childhood Educator/Special Ed. (with ESL and LBS 1 endorsements). I have experience in a variety of classroom settings including self-contained settings, small group and individual interventions, and Preschool For All to name a few. I have a minor in Psychology and strongly believe in building/teaching social-emotional skills both explicitly as well as in the natural moment from a very young age!
Day 1- Show and Tell Item *Gym shoes and room to move because we may sometimes play freeze dance at the end of class!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Please make sure learners have adequate space especially for when we will get up and dance! Preferably closed shoes/gym shoes for optimal safety.
I have been given permission by Dr. Jean to utilize her music.
