Sing, Laugh, Dance, Show & Tell and Scavenger Hunt Time! Is your learner looking for someone their own age to talk and play with? Do they need practice learning how to take turns? Do they need practice with increasing their expressive and receptive language skills or practicing their English? Are they looking for some fun?! Then this class is a great fit because in this 30 minute class, we will have it all! In this class for preschoolers 3 and 4 year olds, we will have fun by singing and dancing to songs including nursery rhymes, Dr. Jean songs and various camp style repeat after me songs. Some songs will include counting skills to practice our numbers as well! We will also have time to practice communication skills with Show & Tell time where your learner is invited to bring something important to them or anything they would like to share with the group. Last but not least, we will end class with a Scavenger Hunt! This will have different themes from class to class so that this one-time class can definitely be just as fun as the previous one! Themes may include : colors, shapes, sizes, favorite ____, and more! Typical Schedule: Hello Song/Greetings Show & Tell Songs & Dances Scavenger Hunt Goodbye Song

Parental Guidance
Please make sure your learner has space to move and is wearing gym shoes (closed-toe) in order for safe movement and dancing if they choose to participate in that activity.
Supply List
Show & Tell- Please have your learner bring an item that they would like to share with the group. It can be something important to them, a favorite toy or stuff animal, anything really! During the scavenger hunt portion of class, learners will be asked to find simple easy to find items that can be found around the home. i.e. "Go find something red", or "Go find your favorite ____".

Hello! I'm Ms. Jennie, and I am SO excited to begin teaching on Outschool! I have 5 years of teaching experience in the public schools (Preschool-2nd) as a certified Early Childhood Educator/Special Ed. (with ESL and LBS 1 endorsements). I have experience in a variety of classroom settings including self-contained settings, small group and individual interventions, and Preschool For All to name a few.
One unique experience I have had was teaching in Houston, Texas for an internship in a Preschool Montessori classroom with students who were considered at risk.
I have a minor in Psychology and strongly believe in building/teaching social-emotional skills both explicitly as well as in the natural moment from a very young age!
