Class Experience

US Grade Preschool - Pre-Kindergarten
Beginner Level
🌻 Welcome! In this fun, educational and engaging preschool circle time class, students will learn, practice and review important foundational preschool skills such as letters, numbers, rhyming, colors, shapes, patterns, weather, calendar and more with confidence. My goal is to always make learning fun!

This beginner's, ongoing class meets twice per week and offers:
- Less students; students enrolled in this class will be seen and heard and will be able to interact and connect well with each other and I in a calm, structured environment versus a very large class with several learners.

- Repetition, routine, review, consistency and tons of fun will create a successful learning experience that students will look forward to.

- Calendar time (days of the week, months of the year, etc.)

- Weather (how do we dress for certain types of weather, weather facts, etc.)

- Shapes, patterns, colors, phonics, letters and their sounds, rhyming, opposites, ABC alphabet, numbers, counting and more!

- Building communication, comprehension and social skills, show and tell, story time, games and songs, wiggle breaks, occasional simple crafts, themed worksheets and more.

- Fun, weekly themes!

- Occasional (optional) bonus worksheets for review and fun outside of class.

- Lots of learning and fun!

🍎 Our class routine goes something like this:
- Greetings
- Weather (how do we dress for certain types of weather, weather facts, etc.)
- Calendar time with songs and movement (days of the week, etc.)
- Theme of the week (ex. astronauts, farm animals, dinosaurs, unicorns, weather, sloths, sharks and more!)
- Letter and number of the day
- Color and shape of the day
- Review
- Show & Tell (On day 2. For ex. If we meet Tues. & Thurs., it will be on Thurs.)
- Storytime (if time allows) and good-byes
- More fun and adventures along the way

In this class, we will learn a new letter and number each day and have review. We will learn letters A-Z, their correct sound and formation, numbers 1-20 (formation, identification, representation, and more), shapes and their attributes, patterns, colors and more.
