In this class, learners will gain an understanding of beginning to read / pre-reading with the correct pronunciation and recognition of short vowels and their sounds. This is where we begin our reading journey. As the short vowel sounds are added to other letters, sounds and later to word families to make words, we are able to expand and eventually learn to read. This class is a great place to start the process. In this class, we will learn vowels and their correct, short vowel sounds, add the short vowel sounds we learn to letters to make two-letter words in order to say and hear the short vowel sound combined with consonants. We will learn and review our vowels and short vowel sounds and learn to connect them to some consonants to create new sounds. I hope your learner will join me in this fun, educational class!
