Class Experience
Architects build models as 3D representations of the buildings they design in order to study their space and form. This is part of the architecture design process, and maybe the most fun part! This hands-on building workshop teaches students techniques for making connections, folds, curves, cuts, supports and inserts so that they can create architectural models with real structure, solid connections and interesting forms. Paper, cardstock and cardboard, in any variety of thicknesses and textures. Glue gun and/or tacky glue Scissors Pencil Ruler
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Learners will be using tools that may require assistance or oversight including scissors and hot glue.
