Students will learn how to 3D model a character and animate their creation using Blender.
Class experience
Students will learn how to make a video game character and animate them to make a short 3D animation. We will create and animate our models using the free animation software Blender. Students will learn the basic concepts of 3D animation while creating their first animation in a fun and social learning environment. Students will learn the basics of 3D modeling and create a 3d character. Students will also learn beginner animation techniques such as keyframe animation, pose -to -pose animation, timing, squash, and stretch animation.
I have been a professional 3d Modeller for over 10 years and have been teaching kids for 3 years.

We will share our work at the end of class and the teacher will assess if the student understood the subject and the teacher will spend the last 5-10 minutes answering any last questions or concerns.Grades Offered

Class may contain some PG-level violence ( punches and kicks) and some weapon use ( lasers, swords, light sabers). No gamertags or personal information are required for this class.
We will use Blender 3D which is a 3D modeling program to make and animate our projects. Gamertags or private servers will NOT be used.
