In this class we will be learning basic acrylic painting techniques to create a spooky Halloween painting. We will be through the creation of the painting step by step at a slow pace that is perfect for beginner artists. Although this class is geared towards beginners all painting skill levels are welcome to attend. We will be going over the basics of how to mix colors, and how to paint a picture by using layers.

For this class you will need the following materials: -Canvas (any size) -Acrylic paint ( red, blue, yellow, white, black, brown) -Paint brushes: a large brush for painting the background, a medium sized brush, and 1 small fine tip brush to add details to the owl and the tree -Glass of water -Paper towels

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
