Colorful Creations: Acrylic Painting for Kids

Class Experience
This engaging, 55-minute weekly class is designed for students in grades 5-8 to build foundational acrylic painting skills while creating a new masterpiece each week. We begin by preparing our palettes and chatting to build a sense of community. Using a document camera, I will guide students step by step through the painting process. Along the way, I’ll teach essential techniques like color mixing, brush handling, and layering to build confidence and skill.

Calm background music sets a relaxing tone while I encourage students to ask questions and share their progress, if they’d like. The class is structured to be fun and casual, fostering a welcoming environment where creativity thrives.

Teaching Style
