Class experience
US Grade 1 - 6
Instruction will be based on parent input, teacher recommendations if available, and reading evaluations that I give to your child. Each session will be tailored to your child's strengths and areas of difficulty. We will use reading passages and skill pages that I have, as well as assignments given by your child's teacher, if applicable. I can also evaluate your child's reading skills and give you recommendations for areas that you can focus on. I will take notes on your student's progress...
Students will become more confident and skilled readers and will be able to enjoy reading more.
I taught reading in first and third grade for six years. I have spent the past eight years tutoring struggling readers. I have taken master's level coursework in teaching reading.
