Description
Class Experience
Learners will learn: - that nouns can be people, places, or things - that adjectives are words that describe nouns - that the three basic articles in English are "a," "an," and "the" - that a verb is an action - that adverbs add to verbs by telling how the action is done - that prepositions "bridge" nouns from one to another - that pronouns take the place of nouns in a sentence - that conjunctions act like glue or gum to stick ideas together - many conjunctions and how they are used in sentences - that interjections jump into sentences abruptly - to work with Montessori grammar symbols that help to provide concrete labels for the different parts of speech. Learners will practice writing, reading, and labeling nouns, adjectives, articles, verbs, adverbs, prepositions, pronouns, conjunctions and interjections.
