US Grade 2 - 4
*This class will never be canceled due to low enrollment. I will teach to one learner. When individuals read text, comprehension is achieved when they have schema, or prior knowledge, relating to the topic. It's their feelings, experiences, thoughts, and opinions that help them understand what they read. I will first do a short activity to explain what schema is and how it helps us understand what we read. Next I will explain the three types of connections we have to what we read:...
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
