US Grade 2 - 5
Beginner Level
In this one-time class, students will learn how to draw the side of a fish using simple lines and shapes. Through the step-by-step guided drawing process provided by the teacher, students will add their choice of patterns, and then color with their choice of markers, crayons, or colored pencils, to make a one-of-a-kind drawing! Because students work at varied paces, artwork may or may not be finished/colored before class ends. Students who finish after class has ended are encouraged to photograph and upload their creations into the classroom!
Learning Goals
Students will reinforce learning of lines, shapes and patterns by drawing a simple fish design.

As a licensed art teacher, I have developed techniques for breaking down drawing lessons into simple, easy-to-follow steps. Once we get the basics done, I give my students freedom to complete their project using their own imagination, thereby giving them the opportunity to take what I have taught them to a different, fun and creative level.
