In this fun class, students will use the colors and symbols of the United States to create an Op Art drawing.

US Grade 3 - 6
Beginner - Intermediate Level
Students will learn basic strategies that will help them understand how to break down line, shape and color to create an optical illusion. This is a fun and very easy introduction to the style and genre of Op Art. We will use familiar imagery of stars and stripes to create a patriotic design just in time for our most beloved national holidays. This is a one-time class, so no homework will be required. As a licensed art teacher, I have developed techniques for breaking down drawing lessons into simple, easy-to-follow steps.
