We will be utilizing a variety of fun and interactive strategies, such as: body movement as we form symbols with our arms to determine if two fractions are greater than, less than, or equal to one another, show me cards, and visual representations. Students will become stronger in their knowledge on fractions. This class will help students build up their foundational understanding of fractions, by diving deeper into the basics of fractions and focusing on the 2nd grade mathematical standards.
I have my bachelors degree in elementary education, and I have worked with 2nd and 3rd grade in mathematics.
