Beginner Level
Is your student learning American Sign Language, but hasn't yet learned how to count? You've come to the right place! In this five-lesson course, students will learn to count in American Sign Language (ASL). Each lesson contains a video of me teaching your students the numbers, carefully detailing how to form each number handshape so that kids can follow along. In each of the five videos, I make sure to review the content learned in the last video, so that everything they've learned remains fresh in their minds. I also make sure to teach the various variations for the numbers that are commonly signed in more than one way. In this way, no matter what region you live in, your student can learn to sign and identify number signs that pertain to the deaf community in their area.
Learning Goals
Students will learn to sign the numbers from 1 to 100.
