I have a communicative level of ASL, having been exposed to the language from the age of 2. I skipped my community college's first level ASL course due to my prior experience and took my first college level ASL at Community College of Philadelphia. For the past three years, I have been teaching ASL to 6-12-year-olds at a homeschool co-op. I continue with my involvement in the deaf community by regularly attending deaf meetups and events.
