US Grade Kindergarten - 3
During our sessions I will target your student's specific learning goals. Whether your students needs help with homework or simply needs to work on a skill that they are in need of interventions and supports for, I am here to help! The topics my tutoring sessions will cover include fluency, comprehension, foundational phonics and spelling as well as writing skills. I am a champion for Science of Reading and truly understand that reading is a multi-faceted learning skill. I will target those deficits and ensure that we are focusing our energy on the areas that your learner needs help with the most. I have access to phonics and reading supports as needed and I am also happy to work with them on things they are utilizing in their classrooms outside of my own. My teaching style is high energy and hands on fun! I pride myself on my high engagement lessons and whole brain teaching style. My target audience for this class is struggling readers. I want your student to come away from tutoring with a better understanding and love for reading. I have 12 years of experience working with students with a wide variety of needs. From dyslexia to children on the autism spectrum, as well as students with ADHD and developmental delays I am able to meet your learner where they are at and from their unique learning style.
