US Grade Kindergarten - 3
During our sessions I will target your student's specific learning goals. Whether your students needs help with homework or simply needs to work on a skill that they are in need of interventions and supports for, I am here to help! The topics my tutoring sessions will cover include fluency, comprehension, foundational phonics and spelling as well as writing skills. To ensure effective tutoring, the teacher suggests meeting 2x per week. Book additional recurring meetings after the initial purchase.This class is taught in English.
- Students will develop fluency through practice and explicit strategies.
- Students will increase their comprehension in reading both fiction and nonfiction.
- Students will develop foundational phonics skills and form a more comprehensive understanding of spelling and structure of the English Language.
I hold a masters degree in special education as well as elementary education. I have been teaching in classrooms for the past 12 years and my experience spans a wide range from Kindergarten co-teaching to self-contained programs for students with developmental disabilities and students on the Autism Spectrum. I love teaching reading skills as it opens so many doors to my students who struggle in school.

I hold a special education certification and I am happy to work with students with any unique learning needs.
Please come to class with a whiteboard or notebook. Depending on your goals, you may receive print outs prior to class.
