This class features a complete series that teaches students to read CVC (consonant vowel consonant) words in each vowel group over 5 weeks. In this series, we will focus on reviewing letter sounds and blending them to read and write CVC words. We will also learn a few sight words and read simple complete sentences together. π FUN WORD GAMES | Students will play interactive games with animated characters to sound out CVC words. This part of class is really *special* because students discover they can read! π MAGICAL MINI-STORIES | Each week, students will read an engaging story (with help from animated characters) that contains the words they learned in the lesson. π§βπ« SOCIAL SKILLS - We will go over what we learned and discussed in class, chat about fun topics, or share a toy. Pre-Requisites
Students should have mastered letter recognition and letter sounds prior to enrolling in this course.
