Students will gain an understanding about how lines contribute toward creating shapes, proper proportion and contour.  They will learn how to construct a drawing using lines in their various shapes, lengths, and widths. They will decide how much detail they would like to add to their piece.

I am a lifelong, self- taught artist, beginning at a very young age. I received 3 years of advanced art instruction in secondary school. My experience includes selling my work in an art gallery which I owned and operated. I continue to be privately commissioned and give pieces as gifts. Prior to retiring from working in special education, I applied my skills in the form of art therapy for behaviorally challenged children in the classroom setting.
