This is a great class for students who enjoy drawing at the beginner level and would like to improve their skills in drawing realistic images.

Beginner Level
In this class, students will be introduced to various topics and concepts of realistic drawing. We will break down different drawing subjects into simple steps so that the drawings are both fun and helpful in developing the learners' skills and coordination. Each class we will start with a warm up drawing in addition to doing several other drawings, depending on the speed and ability of the students in the class. The class uses a combination of powerpoint images along with live drawing instructions. The teacher is also always available to give one on one help to any students who want more specific support in their drawings. Each week will cover a different topic and the topics are also open to any suggestions or ideas that the students would like to learn for the following weeks. The class schedule will be as follows: Week of Dec 9: Drawing Fruit and Basic 3-D Shapes Week of Dec 16: Basic Animal Drawing (Holiday break) Week of Jan 6: Drawing People Week of Jan 13: Drawing Nature

Supply List
Students will need drawing paper as well as at least one drawing pencil with an eraser. A basic yellow pencil is fine, or 2B drawing pencil is great for getting started.
