Description
Class Experience
This is a one-time, teacher led, conversational style class. I have found that these students get really excited to talk about outer space and have quite a bit of questions! So I will take the lead to keep up with timing and order, but I will always support and encourage a discussion amongst us all. In this session, we will examine the many moon landings, both manned and unmanned! Students will learn how scientists made this happen and leave with the enthusiasm of an astronaut! Come blast off...
Students will learn about what it takes to be an astronaut and about the six times they actually set foot on the moon! My goal is to enhance their excitement about outer space and expand their curiosity even more!
I have 12 years of experience teaching science over the years. Space exploration is one of the most interesting topics to me, and I have found the enthusiasm with this subject is contagious 😊
No homework will be assigned.
No outside materials needed.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
