Description

Class Experience

My grandmother was from Japan and she would show me how to make sushi rice and rolls. I also have taken 2 levels of sushi making classes to perfect my sushi-making skills.
Japanese short grain Rice, rice vinegar, salt, sugar, soy sauce (optional), sushi mat roller or thick hand towel to roll sushi, small bowl, water, spoon for fresh rice, spoon to mix sushi rice, and vegetables/fish/fruit to add to rice.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Knives will be used the cut the rolls and vegetables.

Rice can be pre-made; a rice cooker or stove top will be needed to cook rice if it's not pre-made.

Soy sauce may be used to add additional flavor but is not required.
